Hey there, I’m Mae.

After more than a decade leading teams and driving strategy at Fortune 100 companies, I realized I wasn’t burned out. I was out of rhythm. As Senior Leader and visionary strategist, I had scaled performance outcomes, built inclusive spaces, and pioneered diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that created pathways for BIPOC professionals to grow and lead. On paper, I had everything I was supposed to want: the title, the results, the reputation. Yet somewhere along the way, I lost my peace. That experience showed me what real alignment looks like and how deeply we need representation, rest, and authenticity in the spaces we lead.

After years of performing alignment, I realized it was time to actually live it. Ascend was born from the undoing, a period of unlearning, healing, and rising into new rhythms. Ones that move with intention, not imitation or limitations.
Seeing my ADHD as a superpower required me to get real about what I need to thrive and to design systems that support flow instead of fighting it. That is the heart of my work now: helping others build sustainable rhythms that move with who they are, not against them.

As a certified life coach, wellness and nutrition coach, and yoga teacher, I blend mind-body practices with proven coaching strategies to create transformation that lasts. My approach integrates mindfulness, project management tools, and holistic coaching techniques to help clients rise from burnout, reconnect to purpose, and lead with clarity.
Through Ascend, I help entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers, especially those from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, create success that feels sustainable and aligned. Together, we replace hustle with harmony and build a foundation of mental wellness, self-leadership, and authentic growth.
